Adonis, 80th B-day
Adonis is known for his poems… Here he comes from under the ruins in the climate of new words, offering his poems to grieving winds unpolished but bewitching like brass.http://www.guernicamag.com/poetry/462/three_poems_5/ … and for his ideas. Juloratoriet, Göran Tunström
I was almost expecting a Christmas carol when I started this book and was quite surprised about this epical biography dealing with a family from Värmland. The drama, deceitful hopes and introspections were very interesting. I would recommend Juloratoriet to readers willing to experience a kind of Bergmanian book :)

The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket,...
To finish this book was almost a challenge. It was amazingly… bad! I had never thought Poe could write something so lousy, with: a boring main character a poor drama no structure no ending! Poe was really not meant to write about adventurous stories but about spooky ones. Avoid this one if you are one of Poe’s true admirers.

À vau-l’eau, Joris-Karl Huysmans
This pessimistic short story was well written but quite meaningless. I smiled a lot but will forget Jean Folantin’s adventures very soon.
